On Saturday 6 August 2005, approximately 260 people will update on-line journals every half hour for 24 hours, and some other people will pledge money to charities because the fact they're doing this. See Blogathon for more details.

I am the_alchemist, and I will be blogging for Amnesty International which, as you will know, is a worldwide movement of people who campaign for internationally recognized human rights.

I will be writing an eclectic range of short stories, non-fiction and chapters of my as yet unfinished 2004 NaNoWriMo novel: Unsexed, Unhoused and Undaunted; or, the Queere Adventures of Two Extraordinary Gentlepersons, their Faithful Servant, and the Dogge Trundletail, being No Idle Romance, but a Right and Veritable Rendering of Certaine True Events in the Lives of the Authors, the beginning of which can be found at vnsexed. My overarching theme is 'alchemy'.
